ARCHITECTURE
The Acres is designed to bring the outside in, with panoramic glass walls, an open layout, and 5 stylish bedrooms. This cabin includes a chef's kitchen, several fireplaces, a covered porch, hot tub, steam shower, outdoor fire pit and many unique sitting areas.
The custom built property provides a design-forward experience that is designed around nature. There are oversized windows that provide forest views. There is no "bad bedroom," with 4 bedrooms having king sized beds and a custom bunk room that is fun enough for kids and stylish enough for adults. The cabin is full of amenities, as listed in the description. You can easily stay onsite for several days and be fully entertained by what's at the cabin.
PEOPLE
Hocking Hills is proliferated by the A-Frame cabin type, with its compact footprint leading to a perch in the tree canopy. Blostein/Overly Architects sought to squash the type, instead creating a low slung form that brings in the under-canopy and terrain, made unique to each space of this five bedroom retreat. Further operations carve, clip, and reorientate to create porches and privatized views for the guests.
